Access data / server log files
The owner (or its internet provider) collects data on each access to this offer (so-called server log files). These access data include:
Name of the requested web page, file, date and time of access, data volume transferred, notification of successful download, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider.
The provider uses the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, safety and the optimization of the offer. The provider retains the right, however, to check the log data subsequently if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to specific indications.
Use of personal data
Personal data is information that will help to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, e-mail address or telephone number. However, data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or what websites were visited by someone are also personal data.
Personal data will only be collected, used and passed on by the provider, if permitted by law or if the user consents to the data collection.
When contacting the provider (for example, via contact form or e-mail), the details of the user are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.
Comments and Contributions
When users leave blog comments or make other contributions, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for the safety of the provider, in case someone posts unlawful content in comments and posts (insults, banned political propaganda, etc.). In this case, the provider itself may be prosecuted for the comment or contribution and is therefore interested in the identity of the author.
Integration of third-party services and content
It can happen that third party content is integrated into this online offer, such as YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics. This always assumes that the provider of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party") registers the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of each user. Therefore, the IP address is required in order to present this content. We strive to only use such content whose respective providers are using the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no control, whether the third-party stores the IP address for, e.g. statistical purposes. Insofar as is known to us, we will inform users about it.
